Does anyone know what this symbol means? it is on the old family house and several others in the area.

Well it seems to be a bit seasonal for me now, getting up where the family is from.  I will be doing the hunt on my own.  The person that I started this with and I no longer communicate.  Which is very sad since we started this grand adventure together, but they won't be here to see the compleation  :'-(  

Time to delv into the archives out there and see what I can find.  Visit the old family homestead.  God wouldn't I just love to have that place back in the family,,ahhh well need to win the lottery I suppose.  hahahahaha  it's rather big and at least 179 years old, but still in good condition and still lived in.  I love the place and feel welcome there no matter who is living in the house at the time.  Like family is waiting there for me... and I know in their own way they are  ;-)
