Im trying to find out more info on some Western North Carolina Hamptons. My Dad's Mother was a Hampton. Her father was Rev. Robert Hampton who was killed in a flood along with his wife in the 30's or 40's. They lived near Waynesville North Carolina.

My primary focus is the Inman family from Western North Carolina. I am from the James Anderson Inman branch of the family.  I am also interested in Mathis, Hampton and Gaddis families from Western North Carolina. Most of my people come from Waynesville North Carolina.
