    Baltimore Passanger List

    I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the Baltimore Passenger list book for 1820 - 1948   If you do please contact me.   I am having a hard time reading the actually document on ancestry.  Trying to figure out what the heading read.

    Looking for help in WV

    I need help with locating some obit in West Virginia.

     

    I have several family members that have passed on and will only be able to get more names from there obits.  But i live in Michigan and can not get access to WV library archives.  So if there is anyone out there that lives in WV that might be able to look up some obits for me i would really appreciate it.  Thank You

    Amber, have you checked the WV page at RAOGK to see if there is a volunteer in the county you need your obits from? www.raogk.org/westvirg.htm

    As Shannon mentioned RAOGK, I thought I would check it out.
    Here's the link www.raogk.org/faq-requesters.htm. Please read the FAQ's and at the bottom of the page is a link to the volunteers, just click on it and then click on the West Virginia link.

    Hi Amber. Sorry it's taken so long to get back with you. I have my family tree on Ancestry and I can look at others' trees who have common ancestors with me. Sometimes they have pictures of our relatives. Somewhere along the way, one side of the family gets the pics and the other side doesn't, so I've been very fortunate to find some pics. Also, my aunt has a lot of our ancestors' pics and I've gotten her to share them with me. It really has been great. Good luck to you in your search of your ancestors' pics!

    Hi! I just got your comment seeking information on Edgar Sanford. I am sorry to say that I do not recall that name in my family tree. My Sanfords are mainly from the Georgia area, and eventually ended up in Louisiana. I will double check my research as soon as I can, but I am pretty sure that I do not have that name in my tree, and I don't remember seeing Ohio associated with my Sanfords. Best of luck to you!
