Description: This group/forum is created for those willing to offer research help or services to others either out of the kindness of their heart and/or because they have access that is free to members of their state or community that others would otherwise have to pay for. For example, I live in Cook County, Illinois and have access to Chicago newspapers dating back to the late 1800's, some marriage and death records. I would do look ups for anyone in exchange for maybe a search in records they may have access to. The idea here is to help each other either eliminating costs completely in researching some local records, or for only the cost of the actual records. The goal is to help each other and not reap a profit. I look forward to hearing and meeting others!
