    Hi Samantha! How's school going?

    A funny thing happened recently, while I was googling Steckowski, the Ancestry message board came up. A "Mary" was looking for Steckowski, stating she was a granddaughter, really puzzled me. I don't know any Mary in our line. When I left a message, she replied, she had been helping a young lady at a local FHC with research. That rang a bell,"it had to be you!" So, what are your findings??? I am so curious now!Did you find any relatives in Russia/Poland yet! LOL

    I've been posting alot of stuff on my Suydam line, but not so much on Murawska-Steckowski's. I haven't done any new research yet, just don't have the time. Keep in touch! your cousin,

    Hope you are enjoying whats left of summer! Have you checked out my page. I have been entering information that I have on the Steckowski's. If you have any information to add or correct, please let me know. Looking for old documents(birth, marriage & death) and news clippings too. keep in touch!

    Hi Samantha,

    My mom is Marrion the youngest Steckowski child. She married Robert Earl Suydam of Galesburg, Illinois. I was born in Waterloo, Iowa and we moved back to L.I. when I was about 3 yrs old and we lived with Grandpa Stanley on their Sagaponack farm. I have a vague memory of Jadwiga because she died when I was turning 4, and just before my brother Glenn was born. I do remember JaJa(Stanley)more because he lived with us on and off until he died in 1963. I have a couple of stories to tell you of him when we get together.
