The October/November 2008 issue of the magazine Internet-Genealogy features an article written by John Lindermuth on the merits of using myspace for genealogy.  John approached me for my thoughts on the matter back in June.  When I was answering his questions the idea for THIS site came to mind and the rest is history lol  I havent been able to find the mag anywhere in my town yet, and someone with a subscription very nicely scanned the article and sent it to me and he not only put my ideas on the subject in the article HE GAVE THE URL FOR THIS SITE IN IT!!!!.  Since the article does carry a copy right, I wont post it here, but if anyone wants to see it send me a message and I will send it to you.

Sometimes things here are a tad confusing for people that are not used to this kind of site, I've had several people ask how to accept a friend request....so here are some instructions for you

attached is a screenshot of what you need to do. When you log into your site, just click on the friends tab and then click on friend request and then choose whether you want to accept or not

Once a day I do a google search to see where AncestralSpace is popping up (ok ok I admit it, I do it more than once a day lol).  This evening a site I'd never heard of before had us listed, its some kind of "ranking site" that ranks US Websites called Quantcast.  Now...I have no ideas about this site, never heard of it before,  BUT it has us ranked as #315,999 out of the million(s) sites its tracking.

Now I dont know about you....but ranking in the 300 thousands after only 3 1/2 weeks is AWESOME!!!
