I lost my beautiful cousin Halloween night. Debbie's hubby found her on the couch. He thought she was asleep and when he tried to wake her she wouldn't. They believe it was a brain anorism. She was 2 years younger than me. Her sister called me early Saturday morning to let me know. What was so strange about this is I had a naggy headache all night and couldn't sleep. Around 3 or 3:30 Saturday morning I got up, took some ibuprofin and laid down on the couch. I looked up and at the foot of the couch there was a white apparition that looked like large white gauzy angel wings. There is nothing in my living room that would cast a shadow like that. I stared at it a few moments then fell asleep. But it didn't scare me. It was more calming than anything. Dennis woke me up when he got up and told me to go to bed. About thirty minutes later he came in and woke me again and told me my cousin Linda was on the phone with bad news. This is so sad. My cousin Linda thinks her sister Debbie came to me Saturday morning and she believes it was Debbie letting me know everything was going to be alright. I only wish I could go to her funeral but I don't travel well here lately. They live in Chicago and I'm here in Alabama. I will be there in thought and spirit though and have sent some flowers.
