I've been researching my family for about ten years. I started out almost totally from scratch, not knowing much more than the names of my grandparents. I have been able to connect with several cousins, that I never knew existed, through my own genealogy website. I have traced my father's and mother's lines back many generations.

The majority of my ancestors were in Virginia, some had been there since the beginning of this country. Some began their journey west in the late 1700's, going first to Kentucky and then on to Missouri. Some left Albemarle Co., Virginia in the early 1800's and went straight to Missouri. One line of ancestors came from Maryland to Kentucky to Missouri by the early 1800's.

I have done a lot of research in Callaway Co., Missouri. I have over a thousand headstone pictures of Callaway County cemeteries. I have hundreds of obituaries, and several other databases that I've put together over the years. I would be happy to help anyone who is searching in Callaway, Audrian, or Boone Co., Missouri. I do not live in Missouri, but I do go there a couple of times a year.
