Hi! My name is Noah Gillespie and I am looking for information related to the John and Nancy (McFerron) family. In particular, I am looking for relatives prior to John and Nancy and for information on John G. Gillespie. This family group came out of Tennessee in the late 1700s or early 1800s and John G. Gillespie migrated to Bond County, IL. Anyone that can pass along further informatin would be greatly appreciated! Noah

Noah, Thanks for your note about the Gillespie Project. I know almost nothing about my Gillespie ancestors. My GGGrandmother was Elizabeth Gillespie who married John Hagan Jr. They were from Ohio - north of Cincinnati. Their son, James Hagan, went to Iowa. I really don't know much beyond him. Of course, none of my family are direct Gillespie descendants; I am a participant in the Hawkins Family DNA Project. Bill
