Tillie was the last of Wilhelm and Christena's children that I found. One of the cousins thought her last name was Wilson instead of Watson. Of course that had me contacting people that had nothing to do with our family. I visited with Lola Linn-Brooks, the daughter of George William Linn and we were looking at photos. There was a man labeled Floyd Watson, I didn't know who he was and I asked Lola. She looked at me and said " you know, he's the son of your aunt." It clicked with me and I was so excited. I found Floyd's widow in the phone book, she's in her 90's and her mind was very sharp. She told me that Tillie had died from complications of a self abortion with a hat pin. How sad, leaving 2 children without a mother. She also told me where Tillie was buried, duh, same cemetery as George and his wife. I'd just been there the week before. Tillie didn't have a grave stone until she and Floyd married and they purchased one for her. Here is the only photo I have of Tillie and her husband, James A. Watson. Her granddaughter gave me a copy of the obituary also. I always find it interesting how elaborate the old obituaries can be.
