I have been researching my family History for about a year now. I started by accident when i came across the ancestry.com site and started to fill in what i knew. One thing lead to another and next thing i knew i was calling relatives that i havent talked to in years.

It has been such a pleasure to work with so many people online that want to help you out in your quest. i have joined so many message boards and websites that are aimed at helping you find hard to find things.

here are some of my surnames that i am researching

Russia: Lachterman -changed to Lichterman in the US then some Ancestors changed it to Light.

Romania: Neuman, changed later on in the US to Newman

Denmark: Samuelsen
