My devotion to family history has led me to collect and preserve any old documents, memorial cards, photographs and old postcards that I have come across over time so that they can saved from being lost forever. I have extracted some of the names and begun to add them to a family tree so that I could research some of their backgrounds. Our memories are everything but if we do not write them down they are nothing then, and will be lost forever more.  I don't want that to happen to mine I want them preserved so that they will be my contribution to history. 

I also do not want the history of my family to be lost.  It is very important to me.

Having just found this site I am eager to join in with others who enjoy my passion for family history.
