Any one in or around Limestone, Peoria, Illinois? I am needing some assistance with finding a death date or two.
Here's the 411. I am researching Augustus (b May 1822 Germany/Prussia) and Augusta (b 1822or1832, Prussia) (Springbrother) Cornelius. Augustus immigrated to USA in 1846 and naturalized in Indiana (I think). They married 3 Mar 1850 in Peoria county. According to censuses they lived in Limestone, Peoria, Illinois from about 1860 to 1900. They lived in Tazewell in 1850. Between the 1880 census and 1900, Augusta has past away and Augustus is living with Fred Lotman as a boarder. Then I haven't been able to find him in 1910 so I assume he has passed away.
I am hoping that someone will do the look up for me or advise me on which site to attempt to find them. I have already tried the ever popular Ancestry.com, Find-a-grave, USgenweb, and Rootsweb. Short of going to Illinois I am at a loss. ( I live in N.E. OK)
Thanks
Donna
