    I Got It!!!

Thursday, August 21, 2008, 05:12 PM AEST [General]

I got the book!!! or I should say 'booklet. Scanned and emailed to me within a week!

It was brilliant and contained more than I expected. Answered quite a few questions and posed many more. I never imagined I would see anything like this of my family, and written by one of my ancestors.

Thank you to whoever donated the book to the Archives in the first place and a big thank you to The National Archives of Ireland in Dublin, for going to the trouble of scanning and emailing it to me.

The genealogy world is full of wonderful people!

Sunday, August 10, 2008, 12:53 PM AEST [General]

I have just a been notified of a book called 'The Pedigree of the Bullen Family', sitting all alone on the shelves of The National Archives of Ireland. It was written by my 1st cousin, 4 times removed William Crofts Bullen in 1837. Now I have the challange of trying to obtain a copy. I have email The Archives and anxiously waiting a reply. Cross your fingers for me. This has the potential to solve an awful lot of mysteries.
