OUCH! I have lost my genealogy computer files twice now, but thankfully I had all of my information printed out. However, retyping everything onto a new computer program really gets old. UGH!

I'm sorry to hear that. I thought I'd lost all my photos a while back, fortunately I didn't. It scared me enough to purchase an off-site storage subscription. It automatically backs up all my files. I also try to keep a copy on CD's and an external hard drive. Overkill maybe but I was in tears thinking I'd lost my pictures. I'm looking forward to reading about your family and seeing more photos. :-)

That HAD to hurt!





I had computer trouble earlier this spring and had to have my hard-drive WIPED! EEK! Fortunately, my techie copied the files and saved 'em for me, then reloaded them before he returned it to me.





Once again, I've probably got too many photos and too much data on my computer but I can't live without it!





Can't make up my mind if I LOVE or HATE Bill Gates!
