OK, I just noticed you are related to the PHELPS. We really must talk. I'm stuck on my husband's side of the family PHELPS. Maybe there's a connection..... Beth |

Hi Sandra, |

I learned about it while researching, oddly enough. I asked my grandparents about it, and their response was, "Oh, yeah, we remember that." It's funny how you sometimes have to pry family history out of people. Stephanie |

Thanks for the welcome and the compliment on the outfit, Sandra! The photo was taken in the Tartan Weaving Mill up by Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. My Robertson ancestors were weavers, so it seemed an appropriate place to have an "old timey" photo done, and more special because they had that Robertson tartan dress for me to wear. Have a great weekend! Gail K |

Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling. I did'nt think I had so much to write but that is only the beginning of my story of grandma. I had to stop and get to bed, I don't work well when I have'nt gotten my shut eye. :) Colleen |
