Hi Sandra,

The little girl in the picture is "me" =) my mother fixed my hair and dressed me up, I was 5 yrs old.

I'm going to be adding more pictures to my site soon, the old ones still have to be scanned.

I learned about it while researching, oddly enough. I asked my grandparents about it, and their response was, "Oh, yeah, we remember that." It's funny how you sometimes have to pry family history out of people.

Thanks for the welcome and the compliment on the outfit, Sandra! The photo was taken in the Tartan Weaving Mill up by Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. My Robertson ancestors were weavers, so it seemed an appropriate place to have an "old timey" photo done, and more special because they had that Robertson tartan dress for me to wear. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling. I did'nt think I had so much to write but that is only the beginning of my story of grandma. I had to stop and get to bed, I don't work well when I have'nt gotten my shut eye. :)
