Yes! I'm hooked on Nathaniel Philbrick's writing now - buying/reading anything by him that I can get my hands onto!



Of course with Mayflower/Plymouth Colony ancestry in our blood as genealogists (and/or our own personal heritages), the 'real' story is all the more compelling with Philbrick's detailed retelling!

I read Mayflower. I couldn't put it down. It made the whole story so real. It is almost like you are living in that time period. He also wrote a book called "In the Heart of the Sea" about the tragedy of the whale ship Essex. It is so exciting. I won't give you spoilers but it is a must read. Mary Ellen
