Sometimes I'll go "treasure hunting" at one of the local thrift stores.
This Saturday, while doing just that, I came across a classic: The Portable Cervantes, Don Quixote, printed in 1967.
The first printing of Don Quixote was in 1605 in Madrid, Spain. This true classic is considered one of the finest books ever written, and has been translated in well over 100 languages. This wonderous tale was adapted into a musical by Dale Wasserman, and in 1965 Man of La Mancha opened on Broadway. Then in 1972 it was made into the movie with Sophia Loren and Peter O'Toole.
I wonder what treasure I'll find next!
