My granfather was Samuel Charles/Charles Samuel Stone (he also went by C.S. Stone and S.C. Stone) born May 25, 1865 in I think Alabama.  He was married to(2nd marriage)  Eliza/Liza Jane Lee born Sept 20, 1871 (daughter of Lafayette Lee and Martha Tant).  They had the following children: Lester W Stone 1894/ Austin R Stone 1903-1977; Merlin Houston Stone 1906-1975; Pansy Lorilla Stone (my mother) 1908-1993; Ramond Melvin Stone 1910-1971 and Fay his twin died as an infant 1910.   My grandfather had the following siblings: Richard C Stone 1855-1939; Bettie Stone 1860, Mollie Stone 1878 and Eva Stone 1879.  His mother's name was Mary ? and all I know about his father is he was a Stone.     He was first married to Martha Steel (1864) and had the following children: Major Chester Stone 1886-1952; Charlie George Stone 1885-1972; Wesley J. Stone 1888; Ivie D Stone 1891; Ex a Stone 1895 and James L Stone 1896.   Census shows him living in Alabama, Van Zant, Texas; Brown, Texas; Buffalo, Oklahoma; Mississippi.   Can you help me find where my grandfather Samuel was born and his father's name and mother's maiden name.    I have traced information back to Gregory Stone through my grandfather's siblings but no mention of my great grandfather's name.  I would welcome any information that you can give me.  Let me know if you need more details.
