I was just emailed by my new found relatives (DANIELSDOTTER) in Sweden. They sent me photos and information on the family line to current relatives living in Sweden and the USA. Also, information on the family way back to the 1700's.... This is why I love GENEALOGY and pursue this as my passion.....I can now show my grandmother, who is 95 years old, a photo of her great aunt, who she has never seen.
Sweet!!!!! I just had a conversation via email with my new found relatives!!!!!

Danielsdotter Family from Kopparberg, Sweden
Here I go again..changing family lines!!!!
I'm now looking for any family connections on my DANIELSDOTTER Family:
My 2nd great grandmother was Anna Cajsa DANIELSDOTTER born February 3, 1849 in Brafall, Silvberg, Kopparberg, Sweden. Her parents were Daniel ANDERSSON and Johanna ANDERSDOTTER. Anna married Johan PERSSON on November 23, 1872 in Silvberg, Kopparberg, Sweden. Sometime after 1876 Johan left Anna and their 3 children, Anna Mathilda, Per Johan and Carl Gustaf, and he went to the USA with another woman. The parish records in Sweden state "Johan ran away from his wife and children." I believe he was a stow away on a ship but I don't know how to prove this. Johan eventually ended up in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Anna Cajsa eventually had to move to "Rafsnas" which is a poor persons home in Ludvika, Sweden. She died there on January 29, 1912
I have not found any information on the 2 boys except:
Per Johan was born March 6, 1874 in Silvberg, Kopparberg, Sweden.
Carl Gustaf was born March 28, 1876 in Ludvika, Kopparberg, Sweden
Anna Mathilda (my great grandmother) was born March 2, 1873 in Brafall, Silvberg, Kopparberg, Sweden. She married Karl Erik NILSSON (my great grandfather) on November 25, 1899 in Brafall. Their son, Karl Hjalmer Nilsson, was born May 7, 1901 at Garpenberg, Kopparberg, Sweden.
In 1902 Anna and Karl Hjalmer left Sweden (her husband, Karl had already left (1902)) for the USA. They met up with Karl in Chicago, he already got them a place to live. Karl worked for awhile in a furniture shop in Chicago before they moved to Freeport, Illinois. Anna loved Freeport but Karl wanted to become a farmer so they packed up and moved to Forbes, St. Louis County, Minnesota. Once there, Karl gave up the idea of being a farmer and he became a Section Foreman for the DMIR railroad.
While in Forbes Anna and Karl had 3 other children:
Eric Ralph Nelson b. October 1, 1906 he married Harriet G. FORBES, he died April 18, 1984 in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota
Anna Viola Nelson b. May 13, 1909 she married Clifford James GUSS, she died December 9, 1981 in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota
Esther Evelyn Nelson (My grandmother) b. 1914----Still living Thank God!!!!!
Anna found her father, Johan PERSSON, and they lived next door to him. Johan died as John PETERSON on October 18, 1925 in St. Louis County, Minnesota.
Anna Mathilda NELSON died on July 9, 1948 in Eveleth, Minnesota
Karl Erik NELSON died May 22, 1954 in Duluth, Minnesota
Karl Hjalmer NELSON died on December 17, 1958 in Duluth, Minnesota

Anna Mathilda Jansdotter
On March 2, 1873 in Brafall, Silvberg, Sweden, my great grandmother was born. Anna Mathilda Jansdotter was born to Johan Persson and Anna Cajsa Danielsdotter. Anna M. was the oldest of three kids, her brothers, Per Johan was born March 6, 1874 and Carl Gustaf born March 28, 1876. I haven't found out YET!!! but one of her brothers drowned as a young boy in Sweden and the other one, somehow, wound up in Iceland. He sent a letter to his family in Sweden saying he'd be home soon but they never saw or heard from him again. Family belives he was killed.
By 1876, their father, Johan, left the family, he was still married to Anna Cajsa. I believe he was a stow away on a ship--there are no records of him leaving Sweden. The church records from his parish only state (ran away). But he found his way to Minnesota. Johan never married her but he brought a woman with him from Sweden, according to family, they lived together until Johans' death in 1926 in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Once in Minnesota Johan changed his name to John Peterson.
On November 25, 1899 Anna Mathilda married Karl Erik Nilsson in Garpenberg, Sweden. Then on May 7, 1901 their 1st child, Carl Hjalmer Nilsson was born in Garpenberg. In 1902 the three of them came to the USA, they lived in Chicago for awhile before moving to Minnesota. In Minnesota Karl and Anna had three more children:
Eric Ralph (1906-1984) married to Harriet G. Forbes
Anna Viola (1909-1981) married to Clifford James Guss
Esther Evelyn (1914-still living----Thank God!!!!) My grandmother
Anna Cajsa died January 29, 1912 in Rafsnas (Poor People's Home) in Ludvika, Sweden.
Anna Mathilda died July 9, 1948 of Heart failure
