Sweet!!!!! I just had a conversation via email with my new found relatives!!!!!

    Sunday, September 13, 2009, 3:03 AM [General]

I was just emailed by my new found relatives (DANIELSDOTTER) in Sweden.  They sent me photos and information on the family line to current relatives living in Sweden and the USA.  Also, information on the family way back to the 1700's....  This is why I love GENEALOGY and pursue this as my passion.....I can now show my grandmother, who is 95 years old, a photo of her great aunt, who she has never seen.

Whoooo Hoooo!!!!! Break Through in my Danielsdotter Family Search

    Tuesday, September 8, 2009, 1:03 AM [General]

I was just contacted by a person in Sweden who found two other people researching my family.  He passed their information onto me and all the data matches 100%.  I now have information up to my 4th great grandparents names:  Anna Cajsa Danielsdotter (My 2nd great grandmother) was born in 1849 in Sweden.  Her parents were  Daniel Andersson (3rd ggrandfather) born 1818 in Sweden and Johanna Andersdotter (3rd ggrandmother) born 1823 in Sweden.  Daniel's parents were Anders Danielsson (4th ggrandfather) born 1784 in Sweden and Katarina Larsdotter Fors (4th ggrandmother) born in 1782 in Sweden.

Also, I now have Anna Cajsa's siblings:

    Per Simeon Danielsson b. 1854

    Johanna Christina Danielsdotter b. 1856

    Anders Gustaf Danielsson b. 1857

    Sara Lisa Danielsdotter b. 1859

    Carolina Danielsdotter b. 1862

    Johan Ferdinand Danielsson b. 1865

I'm so excited about this...I LOVE these type of break throughs!!!!

I have contacted these two people and I hope to hear back from them very, very soon....I love connecting with new family...

I wish I could speak/write "Congratulatiosn" in Swedish joy and the spirit of your treasured find! My hubby also has Swedish heritage - Do you know what region or village(s) in Sweden your ancestors hailed from?

Kopparberg, Sweden! I just noticed your updated blog (blushing face). I found hubby's Swedish DANIELSSON connection - hope you enjoy the little read ;-) Hubby and I sure enjoyed reading your discovery ;-) My husband's 4TH gr. gr. grandfather was: DANIEL Gabrielsson b.1771 in Ryssby, Kronoberg, Sweden Issac DANIELSSON b. 1814 in Sodja Ljunga, Kronoberg, Sweden Several of Issac's children immigrated to Kansas, including his daughter, my hubby's gr-gr-grandmother. She was: Bengta "Betsy" ISSACSDOTTER b. 1855 in Ostad, Nasum, Kristianstad, Sweden (immigrated Saline Co., Kansas, USA)

Thank you so much for suggesting "Dead Fred" regarding my gr.grandparents wedding photo! I have a 'feeling' the others in the photo are also family, so their unknown identity is a burning question in my heart. You're awesome!

When ou send for the military records they will send you a bill in the mail before sending the info. Also they send a card with a case number you can track it online to see how far along they are on tracking down your info. Make sure you have all info correct when you fill out the form. The more you have the better the chance and the shorter the time it takes. Good Luck

Delayne, Thank you for your condolence. I am sorry for your loss also. It is getting easier but I catch myself sometimes thinking he should still be around the house with his big goofy smile. He was a big part of my household for almost 14yrs. Thanks again for your note. Best wishes,

Hi Delayne, Thanks for the welcome and good luck with your searches. I got lucky finding some of my husbands relatives at another site that I stumbled onto " The Craig & Ennis Kin". You might want to take a look and see if any of your surnames are listed - they have accumulated info on about 550 surnames and it's a quick and easy search from the upper right side of their homepage where it says " Top Surnames". Go to www.craigkin.com Happy searching!
