This is the very first "old" picture that I ever saw.  It is of my Great- grandfather, Robert Coleman Nichols.  It came with a cute little story too.  Supposedly his father-in-law called him a horse thief.  Fighting words no matter what spin you put on it, but all Robb had to say for himself was that he had never stolen anything before in his life except for a piece of rope.  It wasn't his fault that there was a horse attached!
