The parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Jones, 134 South Cedar St. The fortunate baby arrived in the world claimant to many gifts which are offered by Galesburg merchants. Included among them are shoes, nursery basket, money, milk, silver baby cup and babybunting. These gifts are given each year by local merchants under the sponsorship of the Chamber of Commerce. Following are the requirements for the contest; the baby must be born in the city of Galesburg; the parents must be residents of the Galesburg trading area; statement of the attending physician must be sent to the local paper, telling the exact time of birth.
