Group Photo History
Hi all;
This photo has personal as well as historical significance for me.
My mother was born and raised in view of the ruins of this magnificent building. It is the Chateau and Chapel of the Fortress of Louisbourg, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Some of my ancestors were responsible for the ruins, as they served in the British Forces during the siege of 1758. Some of my more recent relatives are also responsible for the restoration.
