I was looking for info on rootweb.com today and found Harmon Lewis with the dates you have. He was married to Dorcas Prater. Did you know Benjamin was a twin? His twin brother was James. Info was posted by Kathleen Noah (email address jknoah@infowest.com. Hope this helps!

Ok...the gentleman who owns the site said he bought the album these photos where in at a sale. The names where written below each picture.No dates

My Lewis family are in AL and TX. We may have a connection as some may have decided to stay wherever they stopped along the way to TX. I have a Riley Herbert Lewis, son of John Lewis and Francis Whittenburg. He died in 1949 in Armona, CA. I'm not sure where he was born but his father was from TN and his brothers and sisters were born in AL.
