    Hello everyone,

My name is Cornelia I have been doing Genealogy for 30 plus years. I have most of my family and my husbands history back to the late 1700's  early 1800's and a lot more.  I haven't been working to much on it lately because I moved to Oregon and have been doing a lot of things. But genealogy is my first love. I have recently been working on it again. I finally found the last name of my GGGrandfathers wife. Mary (Round) Seymour. It was very exciting for me She was born in Canada abt 1806. I find it almost imposible to find records of that time period in Canada without going there. Here last name gave me a solid four generations back. Now I have to work on the parents. Like most of you I have a lot of stories. I started my search because my father didn't now who his grandfather was, he wanted to now. I found him and a photo. So I think he is my favorite ancestor. (Because it took me 20 years to find him.) Thank God for computers

Hi and welcome Cornelia!! lol I almost dread finding people born between 1800-1810, it usually means I've hit a brickwall that will be there for years

Hey! I have some Canadian ancestors too. I'm having the most trouble w/ the Boisdore line. I think I got it going back to France, and then I'm stuck. Good luck w/ your research..
