I have recently found some of my Elder and Hammond family in Virginia. Or at least I know they were born there.  This was a bit of a surprise, I had thought they originated from the Carolinas.  I am searching now to find which country they migrated from when coming to the USA.

I have been busy the last three days.  On Thursday we bought a car. And I have been busy driving my husband around to his appointments. He has new dentures and will see the eye doctor today for new glasses.

Of course we have done some shopping too.  It is good to have our own transportation again.
